Since 1980, NacTelligence has been dedicated to providing telecommunications solutions that position our customers for the future of voice and data communications, through the finest in technology products, implemented with unparalleled service.

Incorporated as North Atlantic Communications by John Fries in the state of New York, Jamie A. Buswell joined the company in 1982 forming a full service business partnership that has lasted thirty years.  Both John and Jamie have been in the industry since the early 70s.

John started has career in 1975 with bank communications, installing and servicing PBX systems for large Long Island based companies. He holds a vast amount of certifications covering a wide variety of telecommunications manufacturers.  His additional areas of expertise cover infrastructure wiring, holding certifications of a number of leading cabling and wire management systems, including fiber optic and wireless communications.

Jamie A. Buswell entered the industry in 1973 working with National Communication Systems, in Cos Cob, Connecticut. He advanced his career working for Unitel Communications Systems, in Hauppauge, New York as Service Supervisor, and then Eagle Telecommunications Systems (Black Box), in Plainview, New York as Operations Manager.  Jamie has a background in Digital Computer Technology, graduating from Sylvania Tech. He holds certifications from a large number of leading telecommunications manufacturers from legacy PBX crossbar technology to the current VoIP standard.

Since the early days of “interconnect”--spurned by the famous FCC “Carterfone” decision allowing the connection of customer owned telecommunications equipment to the than monopoly of the “Bell System”—NacTelligence, as the company is now known, has been providing consultative sales, design, installation, and ongoing service to business throughout the Net York metropolitan area.  We continue to stay in the front of the emerging and rapidly evolving new world order of VoIP and mobility.  Additionally, NacTelligence has been providing both call center and enterprise solutions since the early days of the cable TV industry. We specialize in the design and service of inbound call centers with multiple locations and high volume. In 2012 NacTelligence entered the “end-to-end” VoIP business telecommunications market with with the “cutover” of the “NacWorx” Class 5 VoIP Central Office. Our corporate offices are in Plainview, New York, with our “BCC” Business Continuity Center and Demo Training facility in Hauppauge, New York.
